Ran a 16:35.7. Afterward I put on my trainers and re-ran the whole course at a hard pace so that my the last mile my legs were really burning, ran 6 striders, and then did a 1.5 mile cool down.

Ran a great workout today. Started with a 2 mile warm up, ran 6 X 800 M @ 2:35, and then ran a 20 min cool down. I hit every split fast which is good. This workout was good for me both mentally and physically.

Raced today out in Spanish Fork. I started the race with the top pack sitting in 4th place, but wasn't able to hold it. Ended up running a 16:22 and placing 11th. I'm not very happy with the time, but next week I should be able to do better. After the race I re-ran the course in 18:22 and then ran 6 striders.

Had a great race today. Went out with the lead pack and stayed with them for the 1st mile. Ended with a strong kick and almost broke 16:00. Still not where I should be time wise but I hope to get there soon.

Ran the gully longer run plus some, but we had to take every uphill hard. It was a lot harder than I had expected and so my legs felt like jelly after I finished. I ran shut up hill though in 1:01 so, ya.

Ran one of my favorite workouts ever, 4 X 400 Max effort with a 7 min rest. I love this workout because it works on a runners kick and I've always had a great kick and so this workout helps me with one of my running strengths. Proud of all my splits today.
